Drake's career development services exist to help individuals maximize their career.
Historically, individuals have been left to their own devices to determine what "career" is best for them. Traditionally, careers are selected and managed through a hit-or-miss process.
- People inadvertently select educational courses early in life, and as such collect or de-select potential career paths.
- People are sometimes glamorized or pushed into careers. Whether it is a child that grows into a young adult and always wanted to be a fireman, policeman, or other childhood hero; or; a parent that always wanted their child to be a doctor, a lawyer, or astronaut - careers are frequently selected based on false understanding of what components truly make up that particular career selection.
- People often see money before the specifics of a career. Many individuals select careers based on the potential income they can earn, but often those entering into a career do not know the "downside" of such career choices.
