Initial Screening
Drake consultants conduct a telephone pre-screening of work experience and skills prior to personal interview to determine skill sets and reasons for seeking temporary work.

Testing and Assessment
All applicants are tested for computer skills, general proficiency skills, word fluency, arithmetic and logic skills. All applicants are profiled for behavioral patterns, attitude, energy levels, motivation and communication styles. Suitability and ability to cope with the demands of temporary work are measured and analyzed.

ADEX ®

Adex ® is a recruitment system unique to Drake which provides all the information necessary about the temporary's skills, ability, attitude and track record.

Kryterion ®

Kryterion ® is a state of the art computer based assessment package. It measures an applicant's knowledge of the latest word processing, spreadsheet and database packages at three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. The applicant is assessed in the package itself and is required to use the actual commands to be graded. There is also a series of multiple choice questions.

Drake P3 ®

Drake P3 is a state-of-the-art behavior assessment and development technology.

Structured Interview Process
Each applicant is interviewed by an experienced Consultant. All applicants are probed on prior work experience, skills, interests and general work preferences.

Behavioral Descriptive Interviewing techniques will use specific examples from an applicant's past work experience to ascertain work skills and behaviors. This method is more accurate than traditional interview methods as it relies on past events to determine future performance.

Reference Checking
Previous employers of all of our temporary staff are contacted to obtain a reference. We secure a minimum of one verbal reference check rather than relying solely on written references.

References are obtained and thoroughly checked for confirmation of work history, work performance, attitude, punctuality, attendance, and re-hire status.
